Sullivan County, New York
Sullivan Health Access, Inc. is a New York State not-for-profit dedicated to sustainably improving the coverage and quality of primary health services in Sullivan County through community-driven solutions and care partnerships.
Our InitiativeSullivan Health Access, Inc. was founded on the belief that where you live should never determine the quality of care you receive. Rural communities across Sullivan County face real and persistent gaps in access to primary healthcare — and we exist to close those gaps.
We bring together care providers, community leaders, local government, and residents to build solutions that are sustainable, locally rooted, and human-centered. Our model is collaborative by design: no single institution can solve this alone, but together we can.
Our flagship project is the Highland Health Access Initiative — a community health model focused on improving health outcomes in the Town of Highland and its surrounding communities in Sullivan County.
Central to the initiative is the renovation of a former medical practice in Barryville, NY, made possible through financing by the New York State Assembly via the Town of Highland. Once open, the facility will serve as a welcoming, accessible hub for primary care services for residents across the region.
We are rooted in Barryville, New York — a small hamlet in the Town of Highland, Sullivan County, situated along the Delaware River. Our work reaches throughout Sullivan County and its neighboring communities.
